The organizational meetings for first-year students were held at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering on Friday, October 1. This year, the meeting was held for the first time for students of the new field of study -  Electromobility. Thanks to the participation of representatives of VW Group Polska, the meeting had additional, attractive features. After the speeches of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Wojciech Szeląg, the Vice-Dean Andrzej Tomczewski and the representative of the Students’ Union, the guests from VW Group Polska took the floor.

Then, two attention-grabbing presentations were presented by Filip Kaczanowski and Grzegorz Laskowski. The first one focused on the ecological aspects of electromobility and electric cars, while, the second one presented the advanced technical solutions used in the Audi Q4 e-tron. Afterwards, as a surprise for the students came, each of them could drive around the Warta Campus in one of two cars - Volkswagen ID.4 with a 204 HP engine or Audi Q4 e-tron with 299 HP engines. The car presentation and test drives attracted great interest.

We hope that such a start of studies will give our students a strong impulse to hard work in order to acquire knowledge and skills. We would like to thank the representatives of VW Group Polska for their commitment and professionalism.
