The Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications of Poznan University of Technology, established in 2020 as a result of the merger of the Faculties of Computing and Electronics and Telecommunications, represents the discipline of technical computing and telecommunications. The Faculty conducts research at a high level, which is confirmed by scientific category A awarded to the faculties in 2017 by the Committee for the Evaluation of Scientific Units.
The Faculty has the right to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in the discipline of technical computing and telecommunications. Degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications include Bioinformatics, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computing, Artificial Intelligence (programme in English) and Teleinformatics. The Faculty offers full-time and part-time studies. The high quality of teaching is confirmed by the fact that in 2019 the Polish Accreditation Committee awarded the Faculty of Computing the highest grade with distinction in all assessment criteria in the field of Computing.
