On December 2, 2024, a publication co-authored by members of the RNApolis team led by Prof. Marta Szachniuk, appeared in the prestigious journal Nature Methods (Impact Factor 2023: 36.1; 5-year Impact Factor: 45.6). Among the authors are researchers from the Institute of Computing Science at Poznan University of Technology: Dr. habil. Maciej Antczak, Dr. Paweł Boiński, Dr. habil. Tomasz Żok, and Prof. Marta Szachniuk.

The article presents computational methods for predicting 3D RNA structures and highlights their application in modeling 23 new RNA molecules as part of the international RNA-Puzzles initiative. These studies set a key direction for the development of modern bioinformatics, advancing the design, modeling, analysis, and evaluation of RNA 3D structures.
